Job Summary
RN Health Care Facility Surveyor – responsible for conducting on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified health care facilities to determine compliance with Federal regulations. Will serve as a team member or team leader on surveys (recertification, comparative, complaint investigation, revisits) across facilities such as LTCH, ASC, ICFs/IID, ESRD, PRTF, hospital, critical access hospital, and hospice. Travel up to 75% nationwide; remote work may be available; requires CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT; strong independent decision-making, prioritization, and conflict-resolution abilities; must maintain RN licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Must have CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed SMQT
- At least two (2) years of recent experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities
- Current RN licensure
