Job Summary
RN Health Care Facility Surveyor who will conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified facilities to determine compliance with Federal requirements, and may serve as a team member or team leader on surveys including re-certification, comparative, complaint investigations, and revisits across a range of facilities (ASC, ICFs/IID, ESRD, PRTF, hospital, critical access hospital, hospice). Requires CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT, an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing, and at least two years of survey experience; must maintain RN licensure. Travel up to 75% is required. Responsibilities include applying approved survey protocols, documenting findings, communicating non-compliance, and assisting with training as needed. The role is 100% remote with nationwide travel and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training
- passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
- At least two (2) years of recent experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying long-term care facilities
- Current RN licensure
