JMMS 2nd shift Custodian

Custodian for JMMS 2nd shift at a Kentucky school. Responsible for routine cleaning and maintenance of classrooms, restrooms, lockers, gymnasiums, cafeterias, and related facilities. Duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing floors, carpet cleaning, disinfecting drinking fountains and restrooms, removing gum and debris, reporting safety hazards, assisting with minor repairs, locking/unlocking doors, ensuring building security, stocking supplies, and supporting special events and summer cleaning projects. Must operate cleaning equipment (vacuum, floor stripper/buffer, carpet shampooer, etc.), learn schedules and procedures, and communicate effectively. Requires ability to perform heavy physical labor and to meet schedules with regular attendance. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (or progress toward GED) as required by Kentucky law. This is a full-time, 2nd-shift role at a district school site in Madisonville, KY.
