Job Summary
Under supervision of the LPN, RN, or nurse leader, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care activities to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of patients. Collaborates with the care team to deliver compassionate, safe care, assists with activities of daily living, collects body fluids for testing, may administer medications within the plan of care, and documents patient cares and vital signs. Seeks to improve patient experience, safety, and care processes while adhering to professional standards and promoting education for patients and families.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
- Wisconsin CNA Certification
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
