JK Associate Teacher and After School Assistant

JK Associate Teacher and After School Assistant role combining early childhood instruction with after-school program supervision. Responsibilities include assisting in teaching and differentiating instruction for a diverse range of abilities, supporting documentation of student learning and growth, organizing teaching materials, collaborating with Lead and other teachers, supervising students throughout the day, and ensuring safety and respectful communication with parents. In the after-school component, plan and facilitate activities for ages 4-12, manage classroom setup/breakdown, and work with BZ Beyond staff to support program objectives. Ideal candidate has energy, collaborative mindset, comfort with technology, and commitment to a pluralistic Jewish community. Minimum qualifications include a college degree (education preferred) and experience with children; ability to lift up to 25 pounds (40 pounds for emergencies), and ability to participate in a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. Salary range $32,950 - $42,253; benefits included; background screening required.
