Job Summary
Sr Supplier Scheduler with governance of supplier ecosystems to ensure timely direct material delivery. Responsible for developing suppliers and intercompany feeders, executing cost-saving projects, ensuring an adequate supplier is assigned to each purchased item, expediting with suppliers to meet delivery dates, and supporting ISO/quality-related initiatives. Key duties include analyzing MRP demand, placing POs, obtaining confirmations/ETAs, validating receipts in SAP, attending daily production meetings, aligning PO dates with production needs, reporting supplier status, escalating risks to planning and production, communicating issues related to delivery, pricing and invoicing, monitoring vendor performance and on-time delivery, and contributing to inventory reduction and corrective actions across supply chain functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree completed + 5 years of experience as a Buyer
- Direct buyer experience in a manufacturing company (metal-mechanic, refrigeration, electronic or HVAC industry)
- Experience working with Purchasing, Planning and Production areas
- Fluent English (required)
- MRP (materials requirement planning)
