JIT Purchasing Lead

Job Summary
JIT Purchasing Lead responsible for overseeing material delivery performance, inventory management, and logistics while ensuring compliance with JCMS standards. Drives production support needs, expediting materials, setting priorities, addressing supply issues to meet customer demands at minimal cost, and ensuring on-time delivery with appropriate inventory levels. Collaborates with Supply Planning and Procurement to implement material cost reduction strategies, manages cycle counts and physical inventories, and coordinates inbound/outbound transportation while maintaining safety and efficiency. Maintains department KPIs (on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, transportation execution) and leads continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management and warehouse efficiency. Preferred qualifications include APICS CPIM or CSCP, Six Sigma or Lean experience; advanced English proficiency; strong analytical and ERP (SAP) skills; and demonstrated leadership and communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in material management within warehouse or manufacturing environments
- Advanced English proficiency
- Familiarity with logistics, inventory control, and supply chain processes
- Strong analytical skills and experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills
