Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service by offering service recommendations, impartial advice, and detailed information during face-to-face interactions. Accurately capture guest product needs while performing signature oil changes, fluid replacements, and preventative maintenance. Operate shop equipment including oil and grease guns, transmission machines, and hand tools while lifting items up to 50 pounds. Ensure guests understand manufacturer time and mileage recommendations through tailored options. This role requires one year of experience in automotive service or quick lube settings. Required Qualifications
- Must be able to operate equipment such as overhead and floor mounted oil and grease guns, transmission machine, air conditioner service machine, radiator service machine, hand tools and basic shop equipment
- Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head-neck-shoulders as needed
- Previous experience is essential and requires a minimum of 1-year working for a dealership, automotive shop, tire center or quick lube
