Job Summary
Drive innovation initiatives to reduce material costs by improving design, materials or concepts; collaborate with R&D, SQM, Engineering, PM and suppliers to explore and shape feasible projects; evaluate ideas through business cases prioritizing those with the biggest fast impact; keep projects moving by removing blockers and aligning teams; improve reporting and processes by spotting gaps and proposing smarter approaches; lead regular ReDTC reviews and communicate progress to stakeholders; support management with reporting and follow-up activities; escalate issues early and prepare fallback options to secure yearly savings targets. Ideal candidate has a University degree in Economics or Engineering, 3+ years in Purchasing, strong cross-functional or international collaboration experience, excellent communication, negotiation and collaboration skills, solid analytical mindset, and the ability to generate ideas and drive improvements.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Economics, Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of purchasing experience
- Strong experience in project and process work, ideally in cross-functional or international teams
- Very good communication, negotiation and collaboration skills
- Solid analytical mindset and basic commercial understanding
- Ability to create new ideas, think practically and drive improvements
