Job Summary
Conduct technical research and analysis of emerging C-UAS technologies, sensors, effectors, and command and control systems using Maven Smart System, Palantir, Power BI, and AI-enabled analytical tools. Monitor commercial, government, and academic developments to evaluate system performance, operational effectiveness, and mission suitability for acquisition decisions. Develop comparative assessments, technology roadmaps, and capability gap analyses while collaborating with engineers, operators, and acquisition professionals to support operational assessments and experimentation events. Create dashboards, executive briefings, and white papers that communicate complex technical findings to senior leadership. Ensure all assessments comply with security and data governance requirements while leveraging machine learning to accelerate technology evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
- BA/BS with 4+ years; AA/AS with 8+ years; or HS/GED with 10+ years
- Demonstrated experience conducting technical research, technology assessments, capability evaluations, or systems analysis
- Experience utilizing Maven Smart System (MSS), Palantir, or similar enterprise data integration and analytics platforms
- Experience developing dashboards, technical reports, and analytical visualizations using Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, scripting, or technical research activities
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools, large language models (LLMs), or advanced analytics platforms to support technology assessments and decision-making
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles, technology readiness levels (TRLs), systems integration, and capability development processes
- Experience analyzing technical documentation, engineering specifications, operational test data, and performance metrics
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to produce technical documentation, executive briefings, white papers, and analytical reports
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and analytical findings to senior military and civilian leadership
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, acquisition, operational, and analytical teams in dynamic mission environments
- Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25%

Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, Homeland Security, or Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) organizations
- Familiarity with C-UAS technologies, UAS platforms, sensors, radars, RF systems, electro-optical/infrared systems, command and control architectures, and defeat mechanisms
- Experience supporting operational experimentation, technology demonstrations, test and evaluation, or capability development initiatives
- Knowledge of the DoD acquisition lifecycle, JCIDS, DOTMLPF-P, Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), and systems engineering processes
- Experience supporting CJADC2, data fusion, common operating picture development, or operational decision-support systems
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments, AI-enabled technologies, digital engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), or autonomous systems
