Job Summary
Build and sustain relationships with a diverse student body, plan and execute campus events, mentor student leaders, collaborate with Hillel staff and DePaul administrators, recruit for immersive Israel trips, manage DePaul Hillel’s social media, and engage in outreach and coalition-building to enhance Jewish life on campus. Responsibilities include direct student engagement, using engagement data to guide outreach, developing new programs, and representing Hillel at DePaul to strengthen visibility and connection, including trips to Israel and Birthright programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Past experience traveling or studying in Israel
- Experience working effectively both independently and collaboratively
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal skills; effective at communicating with a variety of stakeholders including students, parents, alumnae/i, and university partners
- Knowledge of Jewish community, culture, heritage, and traditions
- An entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take risks
- Initiative and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
