Job Summary
Skilled jewelry setter needed to set diamonds and gemstones through prong, bezel, channel, pavé, and other techniques. Prepare seats and adjust mountings, inspect stones and jewelry for quality and alignment, tighten/repair/replace loose stones, and perform quality checks. Collaborate with jewelers and designers on custom pieces; maintain a clean, organized workbench and handle pieces with care. Requires precision, craftsmanship, and the ability to work under magnification; experience with fine jewelry and precious metals is a plus. Full-Time or Part-Time schedule with a typical Monday–Friday workweek; resumes and portfolio encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Previous jewelry setting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of various stone-setting techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work under magnification.
- Experience with fine jewelry and precious metals is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
