Job Summary
Teach Jewellery Design courses within the Art and Design program at LaSalle College Vancouver, following and delivering the established curriculum. Contribute to curriculum design and development, assess and provide feedback on student work, and maintain student records and attendance. Deliver 1 to 5 sections per term as assigned, maintain regular office hours for student support, and participate in faculty development and program reviews. Communicate effectively with students and colleagues, mentor students toward their educational goals, and support an inclusive and collaborative classroom environment in alignment with college standards and regulatory requirements. Possess strong knowledge of jewellery design and related disciplines, demonstrate leadership in teaching and curriculum, and keep current with industry practices and software tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in design or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years related and increasingly responsible experience in Academics or industry
- Educational /teacher training or advanced certification preferred
- Excellent computer literacy skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud especially Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign and Microsoft Office 365
