Job Summary
Design custom jewelry pieces based on client specifications using various metals and gemstones, and perform repairs including sizing, stone resetting, and soldering. Conduct thorough quality inspections on all created and restored items before client delivery. Collaborate with sales staff and designers to understand design preferences and provide expert advice on jewelry care. Manage tools, equipment, and materials while maintaining an orderly workspace. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques in jewelry making and repair.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Jeweler or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using a variety of jewelry-making tools and equipment
- Strong understanding of different gemstones, metals, and materials used in jewelry making
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work certain weekends and holidays, as required
