Job Summary
Unstop sewer blockages as required and clean materials from lines, disposing of debris in appropriate locations. Maintain and operate the jet truck safely while performing preventive maintenance per manufacturer recommendations. Ensure safe work zones are established before starting tasks and complete written reports after each job. Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company policies, including knowledge of sewer environment hazards. This full-time, permanent position in Gulfport, MS offers $16.00/hr with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and paid time off. Candidates must hold a valid driver's license, have at least six months of related experience, and pass background and drug screenings.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma/GED
- At least 6 months' related experience
- Knowledge of work hazards and safety precautions, including hazards that may exist in sewer environment
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to deal with the public on a regular basis in a professional, courteous manner
- Ability to perform physical tasks in various outdoor weather conditions
- Must pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks
- Must pass drug & alcohol screenings
