Job Summary
Operate production lines processing various products while adhering to all safety rules and good manufacturing practices to ensure wholesome quality output. Perform assigned duties including repetitive motions like twisting, turning, bending, and reaching, and lift up to 50 pounds. Work 8-12 hour shifts in temperatures ranging from 32-40 degrees, standing on concrete floors while wearing required personal protective equipment such as hairnets, hard hats, ear muffs, safety glasses, and steel toe boots. Collaborate as part of a team with large groups and work unsupervised.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work 8-12 hour shifts
- No restrictions standing on a concrete floor for 8-12 hours
- Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from 32-40 degrees
- Must be able to perform repetitive motions, such as: twisting, turning, bending and reaching
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Must wear a hairnet, hard hat, ear muffs, safety glasses, steel toe boots and or other personal protective equipment as required for the position
- Must be able to work with large groups as a team and also be able to work unsupervised
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must have basic reading, writing and math skills
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous machine operator experience is a plus
