Job Summary
Distribute commissary orders to inmates at Jefferson County Jail, coordinate with Site Manager and truck drivers, and maintain an organized, secure commissary operation. Responsible for documenting shortages or mishaps, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adhering to security procedures. Requires ability to work in a corrections environment, communicate effectively in writing and verbally, and lift up to 60 pounds; position involves standing for extended periods and teamwork with staff and inmates. Working hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7:00AM-1:00PM.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a secure corrections environment
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 pounds
