Job Summary
Plan, organize, and supervise shift production activities at the Pacheco plant, ensuring adherence to daily/weekly production plans and committed delivery timelines. Manage and develop the operator team through training, coaching, and situational leadership while driving the IL6S (TPM) and 5S methodologies. Ensure full compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and environmental regulations by analyzing root causes of deviations and implementing corrective action plans. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to track key performance indicators and support data-driven decision-making. Lead continuous improvement projects to identify process and equipment enhancements, fostering a zero-loss culture across the manufacturing floor.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Graduated or near graduation
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams in manufacturing environments
- Experience in the food industry or similar
- Knowledge of food production processes
- Ability to lead, energize, and motivate work teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to negotiate with various stakeholders, especially union representatives
- Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S methodologies
- Proficiency in production management systems (ERP, MES)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- English: desirable (intermediate level or above)
