Job Summary
Mental Health/Behavior Consultant for the 2026-2027 school year: provide school-based mental health services and behavioral interventions, conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and behavioral assessments, support development and implementation of behavioral/intervention plans and IEPs, deliver crisis assessment and response, offer individual and/or group therapy as needed, train and model evidence-based behavior strategies for school staff, collect baseline data, collaborate with outside agencies, and coordinate student transfer back to school settings as required, while adhering to the ethics guidelines established by the Education Professional Standards Board.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree/Licensure/Certification in Counseling, Mental Health, Clinical Social Work or Psychology
- Experience working with students who exhibit challenging behaviors/Mental Health issues
