Job Summary
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decision-making while leading Java development efforts. Manage microservices architecture and RESTful web services using Java 8 Lambdas and streaming functionality within an AWS environment. This permanent remote position offers a salary of north of six figures, extended health and dental benefits, and flexible scheduling for candidates residing in Canada or holding valid Canadian work visas.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience as a Software Developer
- Prior experience mentoring junior developers
- Performing code reviews
- Contributing to architectural decision-making
- Experience working with Java
- Great working knowledge of Java8 Lambdas and streaming functionality
- Experience working with Microservices architecture
- Experience working with AWS
- Experience working with RESTful Web Services
- Live in Canada
- Currently have an active Canadian work visa or citizenship
