Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end Java/Jakarta EE platform for car-sharing and vehicle rental, managing architectural decisions, infrastructure improvements via IaC, and security measures. Drive the migration from MongoDB to S3, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and enforce rigorous testing standards. Bridge engineering and leadership by mentoring team members, establishing code review processes, and supporting the CTO in operational handover. Ensure high availability through incident response, monitoring, and observability improvements while guiding customer project onboarding and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- Mehrfjährige Erfahrung in der Backend-Entwicklung mit Java (JakartaEE / JavaEE / Spring) in produktiven Systemen
- Ausgeprägte Erfahrung mit Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Nachweisliche Erfahrung als Tech Lead oder Senior Engineer mit Teamverantwortung
- Solides Verständnis von Cloud-Infrastruktur, idealerweise AWS (EC2, ECS, CloudWatch, S3)
- Erfahrung mit MongoDB oder vergleichbaren NoSQL-Datenbanken im Produktivbetrieb
- Vertrautheit mit CI/CD-Pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions o. Ä.) und modernen Deployment-Praktiken
- Hands-on-Mentalität: Du kannst sofort Mehrwert liefern, ohne monatelange Einarbeitungszeit zu benötigen
Desired Qualifications
- Kenntnisse in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform oder CloudFormation)
- Erfahrung mit React und/oder React Native im Frontend
- Verständnis von Mobilitäts-, Car-Sharing- oder Rental-Domänen
- Erfahrung in regulierten Umgebungen oder mit GDPR-Compliance-Projekten
- Kenntnisse in Telematik-Hardware-Integrationen oder IoT-nahen Systemen
- Führerschein Klasse B
