Job Summary
Java Support Engineer role in Bogotá (hybrid) focusing on application support: receive incidents, troubleshoot errors, exceptions, and logs, and perform Java debugging and SQL querying. Proficient in Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML; capable of installing, configuring, and customizing solutions per implementation guides; reproduce client environment data for issue investigation; document customer interactions in CRM and collaborate across tiers for end-to-end resolution. Strong written and verbal English skills required. Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent) and at least 2 years in technical support with experience in Java, Windows Forms, SQL; familiarity with Linux, XML, HTML, and PERL. Hybrid work arrangement in Bogotá, Colombia (Cra 7ma #156-10, North Point, Torre Krystal).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent)
- At least 2 years in technical support facing customers
- 2 years of experience with application development using Object oriented, JAVA
- Knowledge with Linux, Microsoft Server
- Knowledge with XML, HTML, PERL
