Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer responsible for Java/Spark/AWS-based solutions within JPMorganChase's Consumer and Community Bank - Data Technology. Delivers secure, production-grade code, guides architectural evaluations, drives automation and remediation improvements, leads communities of practice around new technologies, and contributes to an inclusive team culture. Requires hands-on Java development, large-scale big data platform experience, AWS microservices, Spring Boot, Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, and strong SDLC/CI/CD and security knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Hands-on software development experience with Java
- Hands-on practical experience on building and maintaining capabilities for a large scale bigdata platform
- Hands-on experience in AWS building micro services
- Experience with Spring boot, Spark , Kafka and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Experience in developing, debugging and maintaining code in an enterprise environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
