Job Summary
Architect scalable back-end systems using Java and Spring Boot, owning the end-to-end lifecycle of new features from implementation to performance tuning. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA to translate complex business needs into elegant technical solutions, while driving quality through automated testing, rigorous code reviews, and clear documentation. Continuously research emerging technologies to keep infrastructure resilient at global scale. This role involves designing distributed systems with high availability, requiring strong SQL skills and experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization. Based in Vilnius, the position offers a hybrid schedule with flexible hours and a competitive gross monthly salary ranging from €2,200 to €6,000.
Required Qualifications
- A strong foundation in Java
- Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot or Hibernate
- Proven experience building distributed systems and scalable, high-availability solutions
- Comfort with writing solid SQL queries and structuring data correctly
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker, AWS ECS)
- A degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- A track record of thriving in fast-paced, Agile environments
