Job Summary
Lead technical design, implementation, and delivery of high-quality code for the Collateral Management solution application. Develop new features aligned to the product roadmap and support multiple deployment models for a growing customer base. Ensure application performance metrics are achieved, maintain high code quality standards, and work within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative outcomes. Collaborate with teammates and clients to drive process changes and improve team standards. This 12-month fixed-term contract offers hybrid flexibility at Broadridge, a global technology leader powering over $15 trillion in daily average trading.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering or application development
- Strong development and design experience with Java 8+
- Strong development and design experience with Spring & Spring Boot
- Experience integrating AI assistants into daily workflows to streamline software development
- Experience with Hibernate
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and SASS
- Experience with Git, GitHub, Maven, AWS, and one or more major RDBMS, preferably Oracle
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing methodologies for efficient, comprehensive validation
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies
- Client-facing experience
- Relevant third-level degree or professional qualification
- High standard of English
- This position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of an extension
