Job Summary
Senior Java Software Engineer for Boeing’s Bixby Software team (Associate, Experienced or Senior). Location-focused role in Seal Beach, CA and El Segundo, CA. You will review, design, develop, test, and maintain Java software products and architectures for ESG under BDS, utilizing ReactJS, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies. Responsibilities include translating customer requirements into software designs, developing and optimizing software for systems integrations, maintaining architectures and interfaces, debugging issues, supporting user feedback, and applying current technologies and regulations. The role requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance and 5+ years of planned work with leadership opportunities; preferred experience includes Java, ReactJS, Spring Boot,WildFly, JPA, Maven, Linux/Unix, Agile, and DevOps tools (GitLab, Git Bash, Gradle, Jenkins, Artifactory). Travel up to 10%. Relocation offered for eligible candidates. The position emphasizes compliance with export controls and security clearances; risk and COI processes may apply. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
- 1+ years of development experience using ReactJS
- 2+ years of development experience using Java
- 2+ years of experience in Linux/Unix environments
- 2+ years of experience with Java frameworks and tools such as Spring Boot, WildFly, JPA, Maven
- 2+ years of experience using Agile methodologies
- Experience with DevOps tools such as GitLab (CI/CD), Git Bash, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, and Artifactory
