Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer – VP at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Technology - Corporate Oversight & Governance. Responsible for executing creative software solutions, developing secure production code, leading evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to probe architectural designs, and leading communities of practice to promote new technologies. Drives operational stability, architectural decision-making, and contributions to a diverse and inclusive team culture, while applying advanced expertise across Java, Spring Boot, REST, Python, and modern front-end technologies within an Agile SDLC framework.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s): Java, Spring Boot, JPA, SQL, REST, Python
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology and leveraging SDLC tools (JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, JUnit) to achieve CI/CD, Application Resiliency and Security
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
- Practical cloud native experience
