Job Summary
Senior Lead Software Engineer role within JPMorganChase Consumer & Community Banking Legal & Regulatory Control Team. Lead and contribute to full-stack development across Java, Groovy, and Python with UI frameworks (React/Angular). Architect and implement secure, scalable enterprise-grade solutions on AWS (EC2, S3, MSK, Lambda, ECS, EKS), participate in design discussions with vendors and internal teams, review code, implement automated tests, and drive SDLC best practices. Requires extensive Java full-stack experience, strong UI proficiency, experience with microservices, REST APIs, cloud services, monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Splunk), and mentoring responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- 10+ years of experience in full stack development with Java, Groovy, and/or Python
- 7+ years of hands on UI experience in JavaScript and UI frameworks (React or Angular)
- 10+ years of hands on experience with Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API Development, Design Patterns, JPA, JUnit, LOG4J)
- Strong understanding of Kafka, OAuth/OpenID/Windows ADFS
- Strong experience designing and building solutions on AWS (EC2, S3, MSK, Lambda, ELB, ECS, EKS)
- Experience with source code management (GIT)
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience with cloud-based technologies (AWS, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes)
- Mentoring junior team members
