Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer responsible for delivering secure, scalable Java-based solutions within JPMorgan Chase's EDG Technology Org, including work on CDM, DRR, and Rune DSL, leading architectural evaluations with vendors and internal teams, and driving communities of practice around cloud-native technologies, with a focus on operational stability, agile delivery, and inclusion in a diverse team.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on Java concepts
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability including CDM, DRR, and Rune DSL
- Advanced proficiency in Java and at least one other programming language
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, AI/ML, mobile) with practical cloud-native experience
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry IT systems
- Experience with CDM, DRR, and Rune DSL
- Advanced skills in Java and cloud-native development
- Proven ability to lead and mentor teams in adopting new technologies and best practices
