Job Summary
Lead critical software, middleware, or hardware projects by providing expert-level technical leadership, evaluating development options, and overseeing comprehensive testing for functionality, performance, and security. Architect and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services, containerized patterns, and Infrastructure as Code while driving DevOps best practices through optimized CI/CD pipelines. Act as a key technical liaison to stakeholders, resolving complex problems, approving technical solutions, and embedding security, resiliency, and governance principles into all architectures. Mentor engineers on design patterns and coding standards, review technical documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technology modernization. Based in Hyderabad with a hybrid schedule, this role supports Vanguard's global expansion in AI, mobile, and cloud technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, architecture, and system integration
- Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science or IT, or Bachelor's in Computer Applications (BCA), or Master's in Computer Applications (MCA)
- Strong expertise in software architecture, system design, and technical leadership for enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, TypeScript, Angular/React, and designing scalable APIs and distributed systems
- Proficiency in AWS cloud technologies, including ECS, Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, along with containerized/serverless architectures and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation)
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, Git, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, Secure SDLC, and modern DevOps practices
- Strong knowledge of observability, production support, incident management, performance optimization, and message-driven/asynchronous integration patterns
- Proven ability to lead Agile teams, mentor engineers, manage technical delivery, and collaborate effectively with Product, UX, and business stakeholders
