Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications across front-end and back-end layers using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js. Implement business logic, RESTful APIs, and server-side components while optimizing relational and non-relational database solutions for data integrity and performance. Apply secure development practices including authentication, authorization, and input validation, then perform unit and integration testing, debugging, and code validation. Deploy, manage, and support applications in cloud environments using CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce technical documentation and ensure seamless system integration. Work on large-scale projects impacting millions of citizens within European Institutions, supported by a hybrid model and continuous learning opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience as a Full-stack Software Engineer or in a similar software development role
- Strong expertise in Java development, including Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST API implementation
- Solid knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks including Angular, React, or Vue.js
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and non-relational databases (MongoDB), including schema design and query optimization
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure and deployment of cloud-native applications
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Knowledge of software security best practices, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure application development principles
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
