Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs. Build microservices, integrate third-party services, and optimize application performance, reliability, and security. Write clean, maintainable code, collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA and DevOps, and troubleshoot production issues. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, participate in code reviews, and implement bug fixes while adhering to software development best practices. This role requires 7-13 years of experience and is based in Bangalore for full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- 7 - 13 Years
- B.Tech/M.Tech or Computer Science related fields or Information Technology
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17+)
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA
- Strong understanding of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Git and version control
- Understanding Maven or Gradle
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito
- Understanding object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience with Redis or other caching technologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Experience working in high-volume, distributed environments
