Job Summary
Develop and maintain Java-based applications and services while investigating and troubleshooting issues within production systems. Support and improve existing services and application components by working with the engineering team on enhancements and releases. Participate in code reviews and follow established development practices to contribute to maintaining stable and reliable production systems. This mid-level role requires 4+ years of commercial Java experience, including strong skills with Spring Boot, relational databases, and Git. Candidates must have full legal permission to work in Ireland and reside in Dublin. The position operates on a hybrid schedule within an established software engineering environment.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years commercial Java experience
- Strong experience with Java and frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience using Git or similar version control systems
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with both development and Java application support tasks
- Full legal permission to work in Ireland
- Currently living in Dublin
