Job Summary
Java developer (medior - senior) to build tailored Java SE/EE and Spring Boot solutions for banking/FinTech clients, write and run thorough unit tests, share knowledge and provide implementation guidance, own key configuration tasks, and analyze change requests/defects to improve systems. Required skills include Java SE/EE, Kotlin or Spring, Maven, Apache Camel, Spring Security, design patterns/architectural blueprints, Agile/Scrum, and frontend familiarity with Angular or React. Experience in financial services or management consulting is valued. Role offers permanent, full-time employment with a mix of Bratislava office work or remote/hybrid options in Slovakia; salary base starts at €2,600 gross monthly with potential higher offers.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on professional experience in Java SE, Java EE, Kotlin or Spring IoC/MVC/Boot development
- Familiar with Maven, Apache Camel, Spring Security
- Understanding of Design patterns and/or Architectural Blueprints
- Experience in the digital industry (ideally banking, insurance, financial services or management consulting)
- Agile/Scrum experience is highly valued
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly understand business requirements
- Frontend skills e.g. Angular or React are highly valued
