Job Summary
Java Developer at Fiserv responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, scalable software in the electronic payments domain. Work includes full-stack development, architectural concept and specification, collaboration on deployment and maintenance, unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and creating monitoring/logging for real-time, high-availability environments. Requires professional experience (3-5 years) as a Senior Developer/Analyst/Architect, strong Java/JEE/Spring/OpenAPI/REST stack skills, and familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML/CSS) and related tools. Collaborative, agile environment with emphasis on delivering robust applications and knowledge transfer within the team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated in computer science, business informatics, mathematics or comparable education
- 3-5 years experience in the role of a Senior Developer - Analyst / Architect with project experience in an agile environment
- In-depth experience with JAVA 11 or above, JAVA Script, JEE / Spring Boot, JPA / Hibernate, REST, Open API (Swagger / Postman / Stoplight), SOAP, Kafka, Spring Boot / Batch, Spring Integration, Spring Web Flow
- Frontend/backend tooling: HTML/CSS, JSF 2, Thymeleaf
- Knowledge of Quarkus, Shell-Scripting, NATS, JPOS (preferred)
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure software solutions in fintech/payments domain
- Ability to contribute to estimation, code reviews, testing, and monitoring of high-performance systems
- Strong collaboration in agile teams and mentoring/education of team members
