Job Summary
Java Developer at DXC Technology responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications using Core Java and Java EE; work with enterprise-level systems and Oracle/MySQL databases; develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures; collaborate with onshore stakeholders; troubleshoot, debug, and enhance performance; ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Java Development
- Strong experience in Core Java
- Strong experience in Enterprise Java (e.g., WebLogic)
- Hands-on experience with Java EE technologies: EJB, JSP, JPA
- Relational Databases: Oracle preferred, MySQL or similar databases are acceptable
- Strong skills in SQL queries, stored procedures / functions
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
- Good English communication skills
