Seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a high-performing team in the gas transmission industry. The role requires strong technical expertise in Java, participation in all software development phases, and collaboration across teams to deliver secure software solutions. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, 4-7 years of experience, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of hands-on application development experience.
- Strong experience in Java and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with web services and related technologies.
- Proficient in software design patterns, data structures, algorithms, Spring Framework, multithreading, synchronization, and performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge of the full SDLC, including source code management and coding standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with additional programming technologies such as JSON, ORM, C#, IIS, and ASP.NET.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and automation tools including GIT, Azure DevOps, and Ansible.
- Experience with cloud computing, monitoring, and infrastructure automation.
- Background supporting applications in oil & gas, gas transmission, or pipeline operations.
- Experience developing mission-critical applications for gas transmission and storage environments.
