Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications and services, including distributed systems and microservice solutions. Write clean, maintainable code with automated tests while participating in code reviews to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with architects and stakeholders on technical decisions, troubleshooting performance, scalability, and security issues. Monitor production environments using logs and metrics to resolve operational problems and support deployment automation workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ Java experience, Spring Framework and Spring Boot
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, OOP, and design patterns
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Experience working with distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- experience with Kafka, Kubernetes/OpenShift, API development, application infrastructure, performance optimization, and secure software development practices
