Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain Java desktop applications for mass spectrometry instrument control, implementing new features, enhancing functionality, and resolving software defects. Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance while writing clean, maintainable code following modern software engineering practices. Collaborate closely with software developers, scientists, and engineers to deliver innovative instrument control solutions, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience developing Java desktop applications
- Experience developing, debugging, or testing software that interfaces with laboratory, industrial, or other physical devices
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Fluent command of English, both written and spoken
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Eclipse RCP and Eclipse-based applications
- Experience developing scientific, industrial, or instrument control software
