Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Spring Boot, focusing on RESTful APIs for web and mobile support. Write clean, maintainable code, optimize performance and reliability, and troubleshoot production issues while collaborating with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams. Build and maintain containerized applications in Docker and Kubernetes environments, working with relational and NoSQL databases to design efficient data models. Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and sprint planning to improve development standards and deliver high-quality software.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development using Spring Boot
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot modules such as Spring Web and Spring Data
- Experience in building RESTful APIs
- Experience with unit testing using JUnit and standard mocking libraries
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes as deployment environments
- Experience with Git version control
- Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Experience with Maven or Gradle build tools
- Good debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with database migration tools such as Flyway
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
- Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
- Understanding of Microservices architecture and API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI
