Job Summary
Lead the migration of a legacy Spring MVC application to Spring Boot 3.3, ensuring compatibility with JDK 17. Guide the development team through containerization on OpenShift, driving the adoption of cloud-native principles and microservices patterns. Provide technical leadership to ensure adherence to best practices, optimization of application performance, and oversee the transition to a highly scalable and resilient architecture. Collaborate with the QA team for performance testing and produce detailed documentation of architectural decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Java development
- 3-5 years in an architectural or lead developer role
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring MVC, Spring Boot
- Deep expertise in WebSphere Application Server
- Strong experience with JDK 17
- Practical experience with containerization
- Hands-on experience with Redis
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
