Job Summary
Investigate, debug, and resolve production incidents, defects, and performance issues for a business-critical Java application in the insurance domain. Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes while handling incident tickets, change requests, and service requests within defined SLAs. Execute bug fixes, small-to-medium feature enhancements, and assist with deployments, patch releases, and hotfix rollouts. Work closely with business users, QA, and senior engineers to ensure system stability, analyze logs and database issues, and maintain technical documentation. Requires 2–4 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and RDBMS (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Located in Jaipur (Onsite) for full-time employment.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
- Handle incident tickets, change requests, and service requests within defined SLAs
- Implement bug fixes and small-to-medium feature enhancements
- Support business users and client stakeholders with technical clarifications
- Work on REST APIs, backend logic, and database-level issues
- Assist in deployments, patch releases, and hotfix roll outs
- Maintain technical documentation and support run books
- Take ownership of assigned modules and ensure production stability
- Strong experience in Java (Core Java, OOP)
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot
- RESTful Web Services
- Hibernate / JPA
- Experience supporting JSP-based applications and Spring Web Flow
- Strong working knowledge of RDBMS
- MSSQL (preferred)
- MySQL
- PostgreSQL
- Ability to analyse logs, stack traces, and database issues
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (for UI-level issue analysis)
- Experience working in production environments
- Prior experience in the Insurance domain
- Understanding of concepts such as Policies, Coverages, Premiums
- Underwriting, Claims, Endorsements
- Policy lifecycle and renewals
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Clear and confident communication with business users and clients
- High sense of ownership, accountability, and responsibility
- Ability to work under pressure in production support scenarios
