Jarraff Operator - Frederick, MD

Operate Jarraff and related heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. Assist in daily equipment prep, operate as directed by the Foreperson, and participate in maintenance and repair of equipment. Take a leadership role when required, assist crew members, set up debris disposal areas, barriers, warning signs, flags, and markers, and ensure safety. Stay informed on equipment specifications and company policies; track mileage and perform storm-work duties as needed. Travel for storm restoration when required. Must meet I-9 requirements. Must have and maintain a Driver’s License, CDL, and DOT Medical Card to operate trucks over 26,000 lbs. Strong physical fitness, balance, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Must be able to read and understand instructions, communicate with others, and maintain PPE. First-aid certification and CPR are required.
