Job Summary
Japanese Games Tester based in Liverpool, UK, onsite at The Watson Building. You’ll work with testers, translators, and developers to report linguistic issues and ensure natural, accurate, and culturally appropriate in-game language. You’ll follow Universally Speaking LQA methods, write and refine test cases, document findings, and help shape localization testing across indie to AAA titles. You’ll collaborate early with developers to improve localisation tests, track progress in bug databases, and look for smarter, faster ways to optimize workflows while upholding high standards of language quality and gaming experience. Requires sharp attention to detail, strong English language skills, comfort with databases and testing tools, and the right to work in the UK with an onsite, in-office requirement (not remote). Extra points for experience in LQA, translation/ proofreading, familiarity with translation systems, test case management tools, and a background in linguistics or related fields. The role offers full-time stability, Monday–Friday schedule, and opportunities to grow in LQA, translation technology, and project management in an international team.
