Job Summary
Lead finance activities for the Japan market within HPE, partnering with businesses to ensure capital strategies are financially sound and aligned with global objectives. Responsible for gathering financial data, performing analyses and reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing), driving forecasting (weekly, monthly, long term), ensuring GAAP compliance, and maintaining strong business controls. Manages and develops exempt individual contributors and/or supervisors, hires and coaches staff, and leads moderately complex financial analysis to guide strategic decisions. Requires strong accounting/financial analysis skills, excellent communication, project management, and cross-geography collaboration; reporting to MG2 or Director. Education in business/economics is required, with MBA or accounting certification preferred. Promotes accountability and continuous process improvements within a global sub-business or finance function.
Required Qualifications
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics
- Typically 4+ years of experience in a finance function
- Typically 0+ years of supervisory and/or leading a project team experience
