Japan Logistics Specialist

Job Summary
Execute domestic transportation planning, including capacity planning, routing, and scheduling, while coordinating bookings with external warehouses and carriers. Manage inbound and outbound documentation, review shipment requests, and monitor daily shipments to promptly address exceptions and delays. Maintain compliance with corporate policies, track logistics KPIs and cost performance, and prepare routine reports for the Logistics Team Lead. Support continuous improvement initiatives, optimize processes, and assist in training contractors and stock point personnel. Uphold Health, Safety, and Environment practices while managing relationships with logistics providers and government agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or other relevant discipline
- 3~5 years' experience in logistics / supply chain
- Minimum 3 years' experience in logistics / supply chain
- Fluent in English
- Strong working knowledge and history of using computers and programs specific to logistics (SAP, TMS, WMS) and to general business management (MS Excel, Word)
