Job Summary
Relationship Manager for State Street Investment Management (Japan) Intermediary team in Tokyo. Responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales of ETFs, mutual funds (ITMs) and model portfolios across intermediary client segments in Japan. Build and maintain a defined book of business with allocated clients; promote and distribute investment products to Japanese financial institutions and intermediary clients. Maintain and strengthen relationships for retention and growth; execute sales campaigns and involve clients in events/seminars; track activity in Salesforce; collaborate with product and marketing to shape sales strategies; stay informed on industry trends while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years’ experience in asset management or financial services distribution
- Experience covering intermediary clients and investment products including ETFs
- Strong analytical capability and ability to interpret client and market data
- Proficiency in Japanese and English with strong understanding of Japanese business culture
- JSDA Type 1 licence preferred (or to be obtained)
