Japan General Manager

Omio is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven General Manager to lead the Japan business, serving as the in-country senior leader and primary relationship owner for strategic suppliers. Responsible for building partnerships across travel, tourism and adjacent ecosystems, coordinating with the global supply team to ensure onboarding, content quality and inventory accuracy, and negotiating commercial agreements to deepen content and exclusivity. Lead the marketing roadmap for Japan, drive revenue targets and market share, and collaborate with the central marketing team on localisation and brand initiatives. Translate consumer and competitive insights into product and pricing recommendations, and establish scalable go-to-market motions. Represent Omio with regulators, industry bodies and government, and strengthen brand equity with media, investors and ecosystem players. Oversee operations, budget, forecasting, and OKRs for the Japan market, and recruit and develop a high-performing local team. Requires 8+ years in senior commercial/business development/general management roles with a proven track record in Japan, deep knowledge of the travel/mobility/e-commerce landscape, native Japanese and fluent English, and a Bachelor's degree (MBA a strong plus). The role is remote-enabled within Japan, with Tokyo-based focus for local execution.
