Job Summary
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research using ESG data to develop and execute assurance procedures for ESG attestation engagements. Evaluate organizational processes and controls to support external reporting, applying complex technical accounting analysis of GAAP impacts related to ESG. Assist in developing disclosures in accordance with approved ESG reporting standards while contributing to complex, multi-disciplinary projects. Provide Greenhouse Gas reporting, quantification, and assurance to clients, and support internal and external thought leadership on industry insight. Participate in client meetings to assist in preparation of deliverables and reports, engaging in business development activities such as budget preparation and service marketing.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in or completed post-secondary education
- Working to obtain or have obtained all Canadian CPA required prerequisite courses
- Legally entitled to work for PwC in Canada for the intended duration of the offer/contract
- Ability to easily adapt and prioritize, demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities
- Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to think broadly and to ask questions about data, facts and other information to deliver quality to our clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas
- Ability to share and collaborate effectively with others, building relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust
