Janitors - West College Campus

Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows, walls, and general tasks in offices, hallways, lobbies, elevators, stairs, locker rooms, and other work areas. Vacuum, sweep, and mop surfaces; clean stains from chairs and upholstered furniture; keep furniture free of dust; and disinfect desks, door handles, office tools, and phones. Maintain restrooms by replenishing supplies, wash windows and mirrors, empty trash and recycling containers, and clean trash and snow from sidewalks if necessary. Empty trash cans and ashtrays, maintain cleaning supply inventory, and notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs. Follow safety rules, lift up to 50 pounds, and close doors at the end of the night shift. Keep a cleaning chart indicating cleaned and inspected areas.
